Tour Summary
The geography of the Cusco region comprises a complex surface, from warm valleys to the dazzling snow-capped mountains, to know these wonders. Nowadays, several treks are made, using mostly the paths used by the ancient inhabitants of the Andes who mastered the rugged geography without difficulty.
The tour program, 4 days trek Lares to Machu Picchu is an excellent way to know the Andean landscape, with valleys, rivers, lagoons of crystalline waters, waterfalls, forests of queuñas and to know the way of life in the Andes. In addition to the excursion in the Andes, the program connects with the visit to one of the wonders of the modern world Machu Picchu.

Recommendation:
It is necessary to acclimatize in Cusco, two days before starting the trek. For good acclimatization, it is necessary to rest as much as possible, eat little, and drink plenty of fluids, especially coca tea, which has known healing and digestive properties. An adequate acclimatization avoids the “soroche” or altitude sickness, which could cause numerous health problems.
